Damian Keeng

A big-game player, Damian joined PSFC in 2003, having arrived from Singapore where he claims to have played semi-pro. A real Jekyll and Hyde figure, Damian takes his training lightly, cracking jokes and has been known to occasionally jog in-between fag breaks. However, put him on a pitch with an opposition team and the joker transforms into a hard-hitting, death-or-glory centre back. Always fired up for a game, Damian's competitive spirit never allows him to give less than 100%. His match commitment is total and he's never shy in firing up the team on and off the pitch. He is the player you want on the field when the chips are down.

Surprisingly nimble for a big man, Damian is comfortable on the ball, happy to either spray passes out to the wings, or to take the ball out of defence. He is good in the air and bosses his back-line like a major to his troops.

His attitude on the pitch reminds you of Claudio Gentile, fearless, hard-as-nails, 'in-yer-face' tackling with no respect for reputations.

When not clowning about, or maiming the opposition on the pitch, Damian can be found in another life as the multi-tasking entrepreneur of the rapidly expanding Orbital Comics brand, a benefactor to the team he's also our own mini-Abramovich.
